If you are buying GTA VI for someone else, check the rating in your region's official store before paying. An age rating from one country should not be assumed to apply to every region.
Current GTA6Lookup position: PlayStation's GTA VI page says age ratings are unconfirmed at the time of writing. ESRB and PEGI checks should be treated as watch items, not proof that GTA VI has a final public rating everywhere.

Check at purchase
Use your regional storefront, rating board, and platform account controls before checkout or gifting.
What Is Confirmed
- Release and platform context Rockstar lists GTA VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
- Regional ratings vary PlayStation says video game age ratings vary from country to country.
- Final rating not copied here GTA6Lookup does not copy GTA V's ESRB or PEGI rating onto GTA VI before an official GTA VI rating appears.
- Adult-content expectation PlayStation notes that Grand Theft Auto games regularly feature profanities, violence, sexual themes, and depictions of illegal acts, and are generally not recommended for children.
What Parents And Buyers Should Check
- Regional rating board Check ESRB, PEGI, ACB, CERO, USK, or your local equivalent when your region matters.
- Storefront listing Confirm the rating shown on PlayStation Store, Xbox, or a trusted retailer at checkout.
- Account restrictions Review PlayStation or Xbox family settings if a younger player may access the console or account.
- Subscription and bonus eligibility Age requirements can affect GTA+ or other platform-store offers, not only the base game purchase.
- Physical or digital purchase path A retail box, code-in-box product, or digital storefront may surface rating and account checks differently.
What Not To Assume
- Do not treat historical ratings as final. GTA V and older GTA titles have their own ratings, but GTA VI needs its own board decisions.
- Do not treat one country's rating as global. A U.S. ESRB rating, European PEGI rating, or local board decision can differ in timing and labels.
- Do not rely on screenshots or store mirrors. Wait for a rating-board page, platform storefront, Rockstar page, or other high-trust public source.
- Do not assume PC rating details. GTA6Lookup does not list a source-backed PC version or PC storefront path yet.
